Hi, I’m Tink. 

Otherwise known as Octavia Bromell. I’m an illustrator based in the English countryside, where I’m inspired by the magical world around me. I work from my shepherd’s hut with my mini Dachshund, Truffle, and my feisty kitty, Betty. I find great joy in bright colours, early nights, early mornings, and endless cups of tea.

I began drawing after coming home with depression and anxiety five years ago. After hardly picking up a paintbrush since I left school, I quickly transitioned from cheap paint palettes to specialist materials, and now I’m lucky enough to work from my own studio in Dorset, and work with world renowned clients.

I was the Adobe Creative Resident for the UK in 2019. Some of my top clients include Apple, Flow Magazine, Moleskine, Chronicle Books and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

My first illustrated book, a children’s biography of John Lennon, is available for preorder from Amazon now! It’s a title in the Little People, Big Dreams series by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vergara, published by Francis Lincoln.

I absolutely ADORE running my online shop. Sending my work out to your lovely homes all over the world is one of the most gratifying parts of my job. I find my work as an illustrator endlessly fulfilling, and feel very privileged to be able to do it full time.

In the rare moments I’m not drawing, or thinking about drawing, you will most likely find me charity shopping, or trawling antique fairs. I also love fossil hunting at my local beaches on the Jurassic Coast, and watching (and rewatching) David Attenborough or Louis Theroux documentaries.

I’m represented by the Bright Agency for all my illustration work.
